Windo SkyBar is located on the 34th floor of the Hyatt Regency Paris Etoile. We have a review of this splendid hotel in another post. One of the reasons we chose the Hyatt Regency Paris Etoile is because it is the only skyscraper hotel in Paris. Of course, we also like the warmth of the Hyatt brand, and we frequently chose it anyway. Our room had a view of the Eiffel Tower, but the Windo SkyBar has magnificent views of quite a bit of Paris, including the Eiffel Tower.

We have fun facts about attractions at the Chateau de Fontainebleau, France in this post. Chateau de Fontainebleau has so many interesting things to see. The castle has a history that dates back to the 12th century. Over the centuries, it was expanded and renovated, resulting in a unique blend of architectural styles, including Renaissance, Baroque, and Classical. Many famous historical figures have resided at Chateau de Fontainebleau, including Napoleon Bonaparte, who signed his first abdication there in 1814, and Pope Pius VII, who signed the Concordat of Fontainebleau with Napoleon in 1801. The castle features many stunning works of art, including paintings, sculptures, and furniture. It has been called the “museum of France” due to its vast collection of artworks. We knew a little bit about Rouen, but our tour guides expanded our knowledge considerably. We are delighted that we went. Madeline and I visited Rouen and Honfleur when we visited Paris. It’s a short drive from Paris but we found a terrific tour company that suggested many places to see from our Paris anchor point. It is a short drive from Paris, but we found a terrific tour company that suggested many places to see from our Paris anchor point.
